If it is within the first week of classes, simply log in to the Howdy Portal and drop the course yourself.

If it is after the first week of class, there are two options:

1. If you will still have hours registered after you drop the course:

You need to fill out a Q-Drop Form and either email it to Penny Jackson at pjackson@stat.tamu.edu or fax it to 979-845-6060. She will get the appropriate department signatures and forward it to the College of Science for processing.

2. If dropping a course takes you to zero hours:

Students withdrawing from all courses click on the Student Withdrawal link as seen above, where they will be taken through the Online Withdrawal process. The information important to a student withdrawing from the University that was previously printed on the withdrawal form has been updated and incorporated into the online process through a series of screens students will see prior to entering their request. Students will also receive email updates regarding the status of their withdrawal once it has been submitted. They should be encouraged to continue monitoring their withdrawal status and official TAMU email for communications related to their withdrawal request.
You are not withdrawing from the program and university by filling out this form. You can register for the next semester and start right back.
